Grade A Plus (GAP) is a community based, nonprofit organization in Columbia, Missouri. We believe that every child deserves a quality education and GAP helps to augment that by providing high-impact, high dosage, quality time for each child enrolled. As a community-based program, we join with families to support the pursuit of success both in and out of school! We gather the resources and provide the support needed for children to thrive through after school academic support and enrichment experiences which include STEM activities, athletic development, and the arts. GAP provides solid mentoring experiences through its Positive Youth Development (PYD) series for 3rd - 8th graders and its Employment Opportunity Program (EOP) for 9th -12th graders. Through our partnerships with schools and other community groups , we successfully reach children and their families to create brighter futures, to reduce barriers, and to generate a healthy and happy learning community.
