The City of Columbia offers free Compost Workshops. Compostables make up 34% of the materials that go into landfills. Learn the why, what and how of home composting. Divert kitchen scraps and yard waste while producing a nutrient rich soil amendment.

Workshops are led by volunteers with experience and expertise in home composting. Those attendees who are City of Columbia residents will receive a free composting bin.
