Distant Planet Comics and Collectibles is hosting Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, May 7 from 11 am to 4 pm.

Here are the details:

• Free Comics! 3 per person, while supplies last. *pull customers in good standing can choose to have a pre-pack done and get 5 comics. Ask one of us about this.
• Shop-wide sales!
• Costumes are welcome, and encouraged!
• Nandor Fox Shaffer, a local artist, will be on hand promoting his books.
• Outta the Cupboard will be peddling their wares. Stickers, keychains, etc. Very cool and unique items.
• They typically need volunteers for the day too, so contact them if you want to help out!

Everyone will be spread out in the shop, the sidewalk and possibly in the main entrance to the shopping center. Be sure to follow any signs we have posted so you know where to go for what. Masks are encouraged if you are at risk. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well.
