Moberly Area Community College invites you to our ribbon cutting for the MACCLab - A Community Makerspace and the Mechatronics Center of Excellence, which are both located on the MACC-Columbia campus.

The ribbon cutting will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2022 (tent.) at 10:00 am, at the MACCLab – A Community Makerspace, located inside Parkade Plaza, 601 Business Loop 70 West, Suite 216, Columbia, MO 65203.

These programs are funded by the MoExcels Workforce Initiative, which facilitates the development and expansion of training and education initiatives that are employer-driven. The MACCLab - A Community Makerspace is an innovative makerspace offering access to state-of-the-art tools and equipment for creatives in the mid-Missouri area to encourage entrepreneurship. 

In addition, the expanded Mechatronics program at the MACC-Columbia campus will add opportunities for students to earn their Associate of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics. The program prepares students to be electrical and mechanical technicians capable of troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment for today's highly integrated and automated manufacturing facilities.
