The pedestrian improvements and the addition of a ramp at the intersection of Providence and Business Loop created a large patch of ground that had been claimed by weeds. We joined with the students at Hickman High School to plant a native garden at the corner of Providence and Business Loop. The students chose the plants and designed the garden themselves and yes, it flowers in Kewpie gold and purple. This garden of hardy Missouri native plants will serve as a test for future landscaping options.
