We teamed up with Ranjana Hans of Raw Roots Turmeric to plant an herb garden during our STEAM Bus Brunch event. Ranjana grows and processes Ayurvedic herbs for use in smoothies, teas, and even coffee and she showed up to the park with flats of herbs for us.
We had a lot of little helpers as well! The children loved playing planting in the dirt and so the project went quickly. Ranjana also took time to talk with folks about the types of herbs, how they grow, and what they can be used for.
