Deadline Extended!
What with the snow and schools cancelling, we know your schedule has been turned upside down so we are extending our call for artists and graphic designers to Monday, March 1 at 5 pm.
Help us convey a vision of The Loop as a vibrant and funky industrial area full of makers, creators, and doers.
We are seeking 5 artists and 5 graphic designers for this project. Artwork will be showcased on a 4’ x 8’ frame (landscape orientation).
Applications must be received by Monday, March 1 at 5 p.m. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. We don't need a finished piece--simply a draft mock up of your vision.

The Business Loop Community Improvement District (Loop CID) invites artists and graphic designers to apply for our Street Art project. This project will create art on free standing boards along the Business Loop corridor with the goal of beautifying the Business Loop and bringing art into public space.
Once known as historic Highway 40, we’re undergoing a transformation and creating a corridor with an industrial and funky vibe. The Loop has always been a place for creative industries, fix-it shops, and those who believe that if you're not wearing coveralls, you're not really working. Now, we’ve been named an Etsy Maker City for our work to recruit and support local makers, artisans, and manufacturers. Successful proposals may reference the historic nature of the street, our recent Maker City effort, or some other point of pride for the area.
