The Loop Community Improvement District is transforming a vacant lot on the east side of the Business Loop into a community pop-up park and is installing a bike repair station and seating area on the west side. Both projects will include potted plants.
Volunteers will be planting large 12 water troughs with native plants on April 27 and we are seeking watering services beginning at that time through the end of October.
The planters will be 156 gallon galvanized steel watering troughs measuring 2 x 2 x 6. Eight will be placed at the pop-up park just east of 801 Business Loop 70 E and four will be placed at the bike station near Parkade Plaza on the west end of the corridor.
