A message from City Manager Mike Matthes:
In a town with diverse voices and strong individual passions, I see a collective belief that, as a community, we can and should do more to help our neighbors. The City of Columbia’s commitment to this cause is described in its new strategic plan, scheduled for City Council consideration on September 8.
In advance of that action, I hope you can join me at a news conference where I will brief our community partners and citizens on what’s being proposed for the next three years.
When:
Friday, Sept. 4, 2015
Where:
City Hall, 701 E. Broadway
What:
8:30 a.m. – Coffee, doughnuts and networking, Conference Rooms 1A and B
9:00 a.m. – News conference, City Council Chamber
The news conference will be broadcast live on the City Channel. The draft plan will be posted at GoColumbiaMo.com with the City Council’s Sept. 8, 2015 meeting agenda early on Sept. 4.
Please feel free to share this invitation with others and, if you have questions or wish to confirm your attendance, contact Toni Messina at [email protected] (573-874-7660).
