City Meeting on Stormwater

The City of Columbia invites you to a community meeting to discuss the Integrated Management Plan (IMP) for Wastewater and Stormwater on
Wednesday, June 28
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Activity and Recreation Center (ARC)
The IMP is a long-term planning effort by the City to address critical infrastructure and meet Clean Water Act requirements in an adaptable and affordable manner. The IMP is being developed in phases to address the most critical needs first, while allowing adequate time to gather information needed for thoughtful planning of future infrastructure. Last fall, the City hosted a series of workshops to gain a better understanding of our community’s sewer and stormwater priorities and obtain feedback on important public health and water quality issues in and around the City.
At the upcoming meeting on June 28, we will review the outcomes of previous workshops, the planning analyses that resulted from your feedback, and the benefits and costs of Columbia’s potential stormwater and wastewater investments.
Please visit www.ourcolumbiawaters.com to review documents from past meetings and see new information as it becomes available.  We sincerely appreciate your input on these important decisions.
