MODOT opened the Conley Road extension to the Business Loop in early July, providing an easy way to travel from Broadway to the Business Loop without having to deal with the traffic jams at the I-70/Hwy 63 exchange. Right now, travel is limited to those driving east from Business Loop to Conley but the westbound travel lane should be open within the month. This new extension won't just make it easier for car travel, the road has a wide pedway for pedestrians and cyclists as well.
MODOT also closed the eastbound on-ramp to I-70 at the far east end of the Business Loop. MODOT explains that this on-ramp averages more than 6 car crashes a year so safety is a big priority here. But don't worry, you will still be able to get on and off I-70 via Rangeline.
