The City of Columbia provides a safe way to dispose of, and in many cases recycle, materials that can be harmful to our environment. This Saturday, September 2, is the next drop-off day.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection is the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month April through November from 8:00am-12:00pm at 1313 Lakeview (behind the Power Plan on the east end of Business Loop). Last year over 3600 gallons of latex paint was recovered and provided to citizens at no cost.
