Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning a series of events, Neighborhood Park Fun Days, this fall. On September 14, the Downtown Optimist Park just off The Loop at 100 E. Forest Ave will host one.
Neighborhood Park Fun Days are designed to bring together the residents who live in the area of the parks and provide recreational opportunities. Parks and Recreation staff will be available with a variety of activities and games.
These events are free and no registration is needed. Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket and food.
Neighborhood Park Fun Days are presented by Aetna. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 573-874-7460.
