Sunday FunDay!

Join us on Sunday, July 23 from 10 am to noon at the Community Pop Up Park for Sunday FunDay: What a Book Worm. This great kids event is at The Loop's Pop Up Park at 807 Business Loop 70 E, right next door to Dave Griggs Flooring America and Crazy Good Burritos.

This month we'll have the Daniel Boone Regional Library's Children's Bookmobile! Read, check out books, start summer reading programs, and participate in other fun activities.

We'll also have other activities for families, including the STEAM Bus with robots and lots of LEGO. Kids of all ages are welcome to get some hands-on learning and have tons of fun. And The Biscuit Center and Crazy Good Burritos will be there for all your breakfast needs.

What on earth is the STEAM Bus?

The STEAM Bus is a fun and innovative project which helps children grasp scientific concepts through play and learning. The bus can accommodate up to 25 kids at a time and features a variety of tools including 3D printers, virtual reality goggles, LEGO, robots, and micro:bits. Adults are on hand to show kids how to use the equipment.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
